Welcome to Community!
About
Real people, bearing Christ, inviting others.
In 2022, Fr. Chris Lee was selected to plant a new community in coastal North Carolina. After months of vision casting, the call to form the launch team began and was named St. Christopher’s by Bishop Alan Hawkins. The ministry officially launched March 3, 2024.
St. Christopher's is in the Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope.

What's the service like?
If you weren’t raised in a liturgical tradition, the first time you visit an Anglican worship service can be confusing. The structure for our services comes right out of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). We put the prayers and other call and response-type sections of our service up on the screen so that whether you’re a long-time attender or a first-time visitor, you can follow along and participate in the worship service.
We worship with a blended style. We think this helps us grow as a congregation as we recognize diverse preferences in our church and across the world.
Can I take Communion?
We welcome all baptized Christians who are walking in repentance and faith with God and their neighbor to receive communion with us. By taking communion, you are confessing Jesus as your Savior and the Church as your spiritual family.
If you are not yet baptized and following Jesus or cannot take communion for any other reason, we welcome you to come forward with your arms crossed in front of your chest to receive a prayer or blessing instead of communion
What should I wear?
People come to St. Christopher's from a variety of backgrounds, and in a wide array of attire. You'll see people in everything from t-shirts, jeans, and flip-flops to sport coats, dresses, and heels. Be comfortable, be yourself, and come as you are.

Our Leadership
Spirit - Scripture - Sacrament
Our leaders came to Anglicanism from a wide variety of backgrounds and traditions because they were convinced that the various streams of the historical Church – including the catholic, reformed, and evangelical – could be fully expressed in missional, orthodox ways through the Anglican tradition. This Anglican identity provides a common core to our life together, even as it expresses itself with different emphases and styles from one parish to another.
